"Learning to love, live and celebrate as we grow in the knowledge and love of Christ"

Week commencing Monday 4th May

I hope that you are all bearing up. I can understand the term ‘cabin fever’ now! I hope that you are managing to keep busy.

This week, we have the first child's birthday frpm our class, since we've been in lockdown. I hope that, for those of you have birthdays during this time, that you have a super time. You can look forward to having a party when we come through this!

From now on, the maths work will correlate with White Rose and BBC Bitesize.  There is a video on Bitesize that relates to the maths work. As per usual, I will also put work on to the Year 4 page. For English, you will need to download the work directly from the website, as the work is put up daily and I don’t know what you will be given!

Mathletics also has questions related to the work this week.

Friday is a Bank Holiday and is VE Day. We are asking for everyone to dress up in red, white and blue to celebrate this special day.  If you would like to share photos of you dressed up, you can upload photos on Google Classroom. There’s lots of information on the British Legion website: and there is a singalong for the Vera Lynn song ‘We’ll Meet Again’ at 9am. I have added a presentation, menu and bunting template for VE Day.
