"Learning to love, live and celebrate as we grow in the knowledge and love of Christ"

Charity Links

For many years we had links to the village of Tujereng in Gambia and several teachers spent time visiting the village. Help was given with building the school and providing equipment and great  progress was made.

We have also had links with a school in Ariba in Zambia which is in great need of support. The villagers have very little but progress is being made to provide books and equipment for the school. The women of the village are developing local industries and farming to sell craft items and produce in the market.

The whole school took part in a sponsored fun run and raised over £2,000.

Carol Callaghan came to school to give us an update on progress and to talk about THE KUOMBOKA CEREMONY which is a major attraction.

The School Council decide yearly which charities they wish to support.
